This Saturday, July 16th, the hometown Batavia Muckdogs will play host to the Aberdeen IronBirds.
Along with a great baseball game, a fundraiser, brought to the attention of the Muckdogs organization, will be held. Our local school, Notre Dame Batavia, and the Bochicchio Family are coordinating this special event. Mrs. Patty Bochicchio, or as most people know her Mrs. Bo, will be throwing out the first pitch! Along with throwing the first pitch, Chicken BBQ tickets for husband and father William Bochicchio, whom suffered a head injury this April leaving him unable to work, will be sold in the concourse of Dwyer Stadium.
This Chicken BBQ event for the family is being held on Thursday July 21st from 4:30pm to 7:00 pm at the Dibble Family Center located at 4120 West Main Street, Batavia New York. Tickets are just $10 per person. By purchasing one, or hopefully more than one, you will receive a piece of chicken, 2 sides, a dessert, and you are lending a helping hand to this local family. Every ticket purchased helps the Bochicchio family through a very difficult time. Out of the goodness of your heart, come on down to Dwyer Stadium and be part of something to help an amazing family in our community.
Mr. and Mrs. Bochicchio, along with their 8 children, need your help. So come on out to cheer on the home team, help an honorable cause, and MOST of all have fun! Hope to see you this Saturday, July 16th, at Dwyer Stadium!
First Pitch at 7:05pm Dollar Drafts from 6:00-7:00pm

A note from Bo's wife, Patty:
On April 22nd, my husband William had an accident which has left him now recovering from severe Post- Concussion Syndrome/brain trauma. There is no definitive timeline for his injury, we take it a day at a time, a moment at a time. Due to the severity and multitude of symptoms he is out of work indefinitely. We are caring for him in our home, where services are plentiful and best for his health and well-being in mind, body, and spirit. I ask your prayers for his continued recovery, and strength and God's grace for our entire family, (all ten of us!), as the ripple effects are wonderfully exhausting, and have rendered us completely trusting in The Lord and His infinite mercy.
I ask you to consider a donation to help us during this recovery time. Your fully tax-deductible check, made out to "Wyoming County Community Action", "William Bochicchio" posted in the memo area, will allow us to pay medical and respite expenses, as well as support our family during this humbling time. Checks can be mailed directly to 6420 Rt. 20A, Suite #1 Perry, NY 14530.
I thank you in advance; I thank God for your gifts and your prayers, and I trust in Him Who is the Great Gift-Giver, to reward you for your good works. And trust me, "Bo knows", and is deeply grateful and overwhelmed at your kindness!
