Arc GLOW 2026 Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship Due April 24, 2026
Now in its 21st year, the Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship is presented to area high school seniors planning to further their studies in human services, special education or related fields. It is in honor of Mary Anne Graney, a special education teacher, who died in 2004. The scholarship is funded by the Friends & Family 5K, scheduled this year for September 19 in Elba. In all, 67 scholarships have been awarded since 2006 to local high school students. The scholarships will be presented to recipients at their upcoming school scholarship programs.

Now in its 21st year, the Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship is presented to area high school seniors who plan to further their studies in human services, special education or related fields. The scholarship honors Mary Anne Graney, a special education teacher who passed in 2004. The scholarship is funded by the Friends & Family 5K, scheduled this year for Sept. 19 in Elba. Since 2006, 67 scholarships have been awarded to deserving local high school students. The scholarships will be presented to recipients at their upcoming school scholarship programs.

Genesee Promise Plus Due by May 2026
Genesee Community College offers three distinct divisions of Genesee Promise Plus, all featuring excellent scholarship opportunities for students to take classes at GCC this summer. GPP offers new adult college students the opportunity to enroll in one summer course at GCC. Seniors (soon-to-be graduates) and Juniors (or rising Seniors) may enroll in up to two summer courses at GCC. The GPP scholarship covers the cost of tuition and fees. Students are responsible for the cost of course materials and textbooks. The GPP scholarship does not cover the BookSmart Fee (for course materials) added to the tuition bill.
