The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 193 is offering 3 scholarships totaling $500 each. A 500 word essay on topics associated with the Vietnam War is required. Stop in the Counseling Center for the application.
New York State Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Incentive Program Due August 15, 2026
The New York State STEM Incentive Program is a tuition award for students who graduate in the top 10% of their NYS High School class and pursue a degree in STEM at SUNY or CUNY.

Arc GLOW 2026 Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship Due April 24, 2026
Now in its 21st year, the Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship is presented to area high school seniors planning to further their studies in human services, special education or related fields. It is in honor of Mary Anne Graney, a special education teacher, who died in 2004. The scholarship is funded by the Friends & Family 5K, scheduled this year for September 19 in Elba. In all, 67 scholarships have been awarded since 2006 to local high school students. The scholarships will be presented to recipients at their upcoming school scholarship programs.

Batavia Rotary Club Memorial Fund Presidential Scholarship Due April 24, 2026
The Batavia Rotary Club Memorial Fund Presidential Scholarship is a prestigious award, with recent recipients receiving up to $6,000, designed for local high school seniors, including those from Batavia High School, Notre Dame, and Genesee Valley BOCES. Arc GLOW Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship Due April 24

The Jerome Foundation annually awards one scholarships to graduating Seniors from a Genesee County School. The award is for $1000 a year for four years for a total of $4000. The William F. Brown Jr. Scholarship is awarded to a Senior pursuing a career in journalism, communications, marketing, or public relations. Pick up applications in the Counseling office.
The Martha M. Spinnegan Memorial Scholarship Due May 4

Maria Cristina Baggetta Meleca Scholarship
The Maria Cristina Baggetta Meleca Scholarship will provide and award chosen by the family to a graduating Senior of Italian decent in good academic standing pursuing a future in culinary or hospitality management. Students who are of first or second-generation Italian decent on either parents side are eligible to apply. Please stop by the Counseling office for more information regarding this scholarship.
Cornell Cooperative Extension- Genesee County Due May 13
Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Genesee County offers two $1,000 scholarships annually to local students pursuing higher education in fields like agriculture, animal science, horticulture, and nutrition. Candidates must be Genesee County residents accepted at an accredited college, with one award for a high school senior. Pick up applications in the Counseling office.
GCC Antoinette Marchese Clancy Nursing Scholarship
The GCC Antoinette Marchese Clancy Nursing Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship awarded for up to 2 graduating seniors that will be attending the Genesee Community College Antoinette Marchese Clancy School of nursing on a full time basis. Genesee Valley Secondary Principal Association Scholarship Due May 8
The Purpose of the Genesee Valley BOCES Secondary Principal Association Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a senior who is currently attending one of the Genesee Valley BOCES component schools and is planning on continuing post-secondary education. Two $250 scholarships will likely be awarded. Pick up applications in the Counseling office.

Genesee Community College offers three distinct divisions of Genesee Promise Plus, all featuring excellent scholarship opportunities for students to take classes at GCC this summer. GPP offers new adult college students the opportunity to enroll in one summer course at GCC. Seniors (soon-to-be graduates) and Juniors (or rising Seniors) may enroll in up to two summer courses at GCC. The GPP scholarship covers the cost of tuition and fees. Students are responsible for the cost of course materials and textbooks. The GPP scholarship does not cover the BookSmart Fee (for course materials) added to the tuition bill.
